On October 6–7, healthcare executives from health plans, PBMs, and state and federal agencies will gather in Atlanta for AI Summit 2026, an executive forum focused on one of healthcare’s biggest opportunities: using AI to intervene earlier, operate more intelligently, and prevent problems before they occur.
This year’s theme, Enter the Prevention Era, reflects a fundamental shift taking place across healthcare. Rather than relying on reactive recovery models, organizations are beginning to leverage AI to identify risk earlier, reduce administrative burden, improve provider collaboration, and create measurable operational and financial impact.
Over two days, attendees will hear directly from executives who are leading this transformation through real-world discussions on payment integrity, fraud prevention, provider engagement, AI governance, government programs, and enterprise AI strategy. They’ll also have the opportunity to connect with peers through executive networking events, including the Summit’s opening Executive Experience at the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta.
Setting the stage for these conversations is this year’s keynote speaker, Dr. Sai Balasubramanian, M.D., J.D.
Introducing Dr. Sai Balasubramanian
Every AI Summit begins with a keynote designed to frame the conversations that follow. As healthcare organizations navigate the shift from reactive operations to earlier, more intelligent intervention, Dr. Sai Balasubramanian brings a perspective uniquely suited to challenge and inspire executive leaders.
With a dynamic background spanning healthcare, policy, digital strategy and large scale enterprise transformation, Sai has spent his career helping healthcare organizations navigate the intersections of innovation, governance, and operational excellence. His experience spans healthcare modernization, executive advisory, technology transformation, and AI adoption, giving him a broad perspective on what it actually takes to turn emerging technologies into lasting organizational change.
While many conversations around AI remain focused on technology itself, Sai’s work has consistently centered on a different question: How do organizations change?
That perspective aligns closely with this year’s Summit. Entering the Prevention Era isn’t simply about deploying new AI capabilities—it’s about rethinking operating models, aligning leadership, building trust, and creating organizations capable of intervening earlier and delivering better outcomes.
Sai’s keynote will challenge attendees to look beyond AI as a collection of tools and instead consider the organizational decisions, leadership priorities, and operational changes required to realize its full potential.
Continuing the Conversation
Sai’s keynote will serve as the foundation for a full day of executive discussion featuring healthcare leaders from across the industry. Sessions will explore topics ranging from AI-assisted documentation fraud and the growing deepfake threat, to government program modernization, provider collaboration, enterprise AI adoption, and practical strategies for moving from reactive recovery to proactive prevention.
Whether attendees are responsible for payment integrity, fraud prevention, healthcare operations, technology, or enterprise strategy, the Summit is designed to provide practical insights from organizations already putting AI into practice.
We look forward to welcoming Dr. Sai Balasubramanian to Atlanta as we explore what it takes to Enter the Prevention Era.
